Business Before Hours – Albany 2026

  • Albany Business Centre 222 Chester Pass Road Albany, WA, 6330 Australia (map)

Held on the third Thursday of every month

This Month’s Topic

Join the City of Albany in preparing for Albany 2026 and putting Albany on the map like never before.

This year, Albany will host Western Australia’s first Bicentenary. Visitors will come to hear Albany’s story, immerse themselves in our culture, and experience the best of our tourism, hospitality, and retail offerings.

Now is the time to get ready to showcase Albany at its very best.

Local businesses are encouraged to get involved – whether by aligning promotions with key events, hosting satellite activities, or partnering with organisers to create memorable experiences for locals and visitors alike.

A 10-15 minute presentation will be delivered by Adam Gregory, Albany 2026 Coordinator for City of Albany.

“As part of Albany 2026, our community will host several major events that are expected to significantly increase visitation to the region and showcase Albany on a state and national stage. In this talk, I’ll outline what these tourism-boosting moments look like, when they’re happening, and the opportunities they create for local businesses. I’ll be encouraging businesses to think proactively about how they can get involved, whether that’s extending operating hours, increasing workforce capacity, or offering targeted promotions and experiences so we can collectively maximise the economic benefits of these events. The goal is to ensure local businesses are well-prepared to capture increased demand and share in the success of Albany 2026.”
