Business Before Hours – Engaging an Apprentice in Your Small Business

  • Albany Business Centre 222 Chester Pass Road Albany, WA, 6330 Australia (map)

Held on the third Thursday of every month

This Month’s Topic

Samantha Manson, Apprenticeship Field Consultant for MEGT, will discuss what small businesses need to know about engaging an apprentice.

From understanding the process and employer obligations through to available incentives and support, Samantha will provide practical information to help businesses feel more confident about taking on an apprentice and growing their workforce.

Thjis is a great opportunity to ask questions, connect with other local businesses, and learn more about how apprenticeships can benefit your business long term.

Please RSVP so we can make you a free bacon and egg sandwich. Help yourself to tea and coffee facilities.

  • Held on the third Thursday of each month, this casual event invites small business operators and sole traders to join us for a bacon and egg roll from 7:30am to 8:30am. A 10-15 minute presentation is delivered on the month’s topic. It’s a chance for people to connect and learn about events, business programs and services in a way that respects busy schedules.

This monthly program is aimed at breaking down the barriers between business owners and information about region-specific resources and initiatives that can support their business planning/management and work-life balance. Contact us to request to be a presenter.
