About Coworking

Safe and Sound Albany’s sponsorship means women in business can attend for free. Join us in the training room at the Albany Business Centre any time on the day between 9am and 5pm. It's a great way to schedule regular time to reflect on your business, brainstorm new ideas, and strategise your next moves. Take a break from your routine and immerse yourself in an environment that's free from your usual distractions.

On the day, you can take advantage of our free amenities like speedy wifi, tea/coffee and snacks... and you can even book our other services, such as a free business consultation or online specialist 1-to-1 sessions to learn and grow your business. Bookings in advance for these services is recomended.

About Safe and Sound Albany

Ally Lawrence is a Clinical Psychologist who delivers the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) which is an evidence-based listening therapy designed to improve emotional and behavioural regulation and increase social engagement. It can also reduce sound sensitivities and improve auditory processing. It has benefits for many clients but especially children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorders and Anxiety.

As a practical application of Polyvagal Theory, the SSP acts as a non-invasive, acoustic vagal nerve stimulator, helping to re-tune the nervous system to better support connection, collaboration and resilience.

For more information go to www.whatisthessp.com

The SSP involves listening to specially filtered music through headphones alongside a trusted caregiver in the comfort of their home environment. This program can be delivered to suitable clients completely online to enable accessibility for families anywhere in Western Australia.

Ally Lawrence is a Clinical Psychologist with more than 20 years experience working with children and families and will support you while you deliver the SSP at home. Although suitable for children and adults, she is currently focusing on children 4-12 years. Many families have been able to use their NDIS funding for SSP.
