In this set of morning and afternoon workshops, you’ll learn practical skills and ways to start and grow a successful business. Whether you have a business idea or are just starting to explore your entrepreneurial spirit, these workshops are for you.
Starting a Business – 10am to 12pm
In the morning we’ll focus on the practicalities of launching a new business, stripping away the guesswork with real-world advice and actionable examples. Whether you're in the ideation phase or ready to pull the trigger, this session ensures you start the process right from day one.
What we’ll cover
Fundamentals: the essentials of a new startup.
Strategic Roadmaps: to help avoid common pitfalls during the launch phase.
Real-world insights: examples of what works (and what doesn't).
Lunch and networking – 12pm to 1pm
We’ll serve up a great lunch while you network and learn more about other participants visions for their business.
One-page Business Plan – 1pm to 3pm
Every small business benefits from preparing even a simple business plan. Researching, summarising and refining your concept will save you time and money in the long run.
We’ll provide a template and guidance to complete your one-page business plan that includes a simple overview of your business profile, purpose, market research, competitive analysis, products and/or services, marketing and finances.
We'll achieve loads in these two short workshops, and the Albany Business Centre can continue to support you on your business journey.
